Because we don't want this to happen to you : We encourage everyone regardless of who you purchase your kid/adult goat from to join ADGA and utilize their DNA program regardless if the registration says DNA or not in the top right corner or under the animals name. This is to give you piece of mind that the animal(s) you purchased is of the desired pedigree. As of September 2023 - We collect DNA samples from all animals with hoof on the ground on our farm.
Order DNA through ADGA If this link doesn't work go to ADGA.org / forms / performance programs / online DNA
NOTE: if you are not an ADGA member call them before placing the order; if you are a member you must have the funds in your account before placing the order.

Goats are herd animals and require other goats for companionship, they truly are herd animals and do not do well living a solitary life.
Kids on our farm are treated for Coccidia only if needed.
All of our kids are disbudded if horned, no exceptions.
All of our registered kids are MicroChip (EID).
All of our Dams and Sires are DNA, we will make every effort to have registered kids DNA.
Goats are guaranteed healthy at the time of sale; once an animal leaves our property; No guarantee is extended.
CL CAE and Johne's are serious diseases that affect some herds. We have been blessed in southern Missouri to not have these diseases in the area yet. We do our due diligence to prevent these and any other diseases from affecting our herd. If you visit a breeder boasting that they test but they don't show you or provide you with the results and lab information then use caution bringing the animals to your farm. Safe practice is a 30 day quarantine and have the test done at your veterinary office.

Treat for Coccidia as needed. If any of our kids over 2 weeks & under 11.9 months gets runny diarrhea, we treat them for Coccidia and give a dose of ProBios.
For our November 2023 kidding we are going to try a natural coccidia prevention method; 1/4tsp ground cinnamon mix with 4oz milk (for us that will be their dams milk) bottle fed daily. We decided to try this and if it works, fantastic. We will practice this from now on, if not then we will treat as normal for coccidia should the need arise.
